University of Notre Dame Divestment leaders meet with President Jenkins

Co-founders of the We Are 9 Divestment movement, Katie Otterbeck and Garrett Blad, met with university president, Father John Jenkins, on tuesday, January 27th to discuss the removal of financial investments in the top 200 publically traded fossil fuel corporations from the institution's endowment. The meeting was granted following a petition drop and silent protest in the office of the president in mid-December.
